Hello, I was wondering if somebody might know what the best battery, for the light meter, to use on my 814. The original batteries used were two mercury 1.3 volt, but are not available. I heard the new 625 1.5v alkaline would set my meter a little askew. The zinc-air seems a waste. Does anybody know if the 1.5 volt alkaline would produce bad apertures or could I go with it? Jonah

I use the 1.5volt by Varta, and have never had a problem.

One more question. Where would the best place to purchase this Varta battery be, a Wal-Mart maybe?
